General Terms and Conditions

§ 1 — Seller
Karoline Wallnöfer, TheFlyingCoons, hobby breeder of Maine Coon cats in Austria.
§ 2 — Purchase price includes
By reserving a kitten, the buyer accepts these terms and conditions.
- Pedigree from the respective association (ÖVEK / TICA / CFA)
- EU pet passport with basic vaccination
- Multiple deworming (min. 2x per vet recommendation)
- Microchip (transponder) per EU regulations
- Veterinary health examination before handover
- Starter package with familiar food and toys
§ 3 — Conclusion of Contract
The contract is concluded by written reservation confirmation (via email). A reservation is only binding after receipt of the deposit. The reservation establishes a pre-purchase right for a specific kitten.
§ 4 — Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded. For kittens that have already been handed over to the buyer within the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal expires upon handover of the animal. Deposits already made will be refunded minus a 20% expense allowance of the purchase price. The right of withdrawal does not apply to kittens that were individually selected according to customer wishes.
§ 5 — Warranty
The seller is liable for health defects existing at the time of handover for a period of 12 months. In case of illness or death of the kitten within 14 days after handover, proven by veterinary certificate, a refund of the purchase price or replacement will be provided. Further damage claims are excluded.
§ 6 — Liability
After handover of the kitten, the buyer assumes full responsibility for proper care, veterinary care and all consequential costs. The seller is not liable for damages caused by improper care, feeding or medical treatment.
§ 7 — Data Protection
Personal data will be processed exclusively for the execution of the purchase contract and for maintaining breeding books in accordance with GDPR. Details in our privacy policy.
§ 8 — Jurisdiction and Final Provisions
Jurisdiction is the competent court in Feldkirch, Austria. Austrian law applies to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should individual provisions of these T&C be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
